James G. Ridgeway, Attorney
James G. Ridgeway is a Denver native who has been practicing law and pursuing real estate development since 1991. Jim graduated from Colorado State University before obtaining his J.D. from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 1991. Before joining Huntington C. Brown & Associates four years ago, Mr. Ridgeway was a sole practitioner for several years. Prior to that, Jim served as in-house counsel for Heritage West Co., a Denver-based real estate development company specializing in residential development and low-income affordable housing communities. During his varied career, Mr. Ridgeway has successfully handled all manner of real estate law and real estate development related matters, including site selection and acquisition, contracting, appraisals, construction and permanent financing, leases, mechanic’s liens, construction disputes, andforeclosures and evictions. His practice also has included corporation and LLC formation, partnership agreements, civil litigation and myriad types of contract negotiations.
Apart from helping clients analyze and resolve real estate related problems and advancing real estate developments and real estate transactions, Jim enjoys skiing, bicycling and reading with his wife and children.
